Charting the LifeCourse

The Charting the LifeCourse framework is an authentic grassroots activity, driven by the core belief that “all people have the right to live, love, work, play and pursue their life aspirations.” It was created to help individuals and families of all abilities and all ages develop a vision for a good life, think about what they need to know and do, identify how to find or develop supports, and discover what it takes to live the lives they want to live. These resources are intended to be used by individuals, family members, caregivers, and other supporters at all stages of life.

State Employment Leadership Network’s Guided Conversation

Guided conversations help people process information, draw their own conclusions, and make their own decisions. These conversations are critical in assisting individuals with disabilities and their families to discover what possibilities and support options exist. While these documents are designed for professionals working with people with disabilities, they can be utilized by family members and even the student themselves.
