2017 Regional Assessment

2017 Regional Assessment

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) collected information to supplement the data collected at our regional stakeholder meetings. These surveys have been used to develop a targeted technical assistance plan to support people and organizations across the state in a better way as we move from facility based services to community based services. DODD collected information related to 7 priority areas: Leadership, Strategic Goals and Operating Procedures, Financing and Contracting, Training and Technical Assistance, Interagency Collaboration and Parntership, Services and Service Innovation, and Performance Measurement and Data Management.

746 total responses. 87 of 88 counties represented. 76% providers, 21% county boards, and 3% ICF's.

Half of respondents reported that they were halfway through their planned transformation process to move from facility based services to community based services.

Findings have been incorporated into Phase II and Phase III planning and targeted technical assistance plans.
