2023 Innovation Tuesdays: May 2 Supporting People with Significant Needs
Hear stories from people building their network and how this is a critical component to supporting people with the most
significant sensory, behavior, and communication needs.
Learning Objectives:
- Examine challenges to building and sustaining a network when supporting people with significant sensory, communication and behavior support needs.
- Identify resources to create solutions to unmet needs.
- Identify action steps to enhance system change to better support people with the most significant needs.
- Foster relationships and honor connections among people being supported, families, county boards, Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs), providers, and other stakeholders.
- Discuss sustaining and enriching support through relationship networks, and listening to people being supported and their families.
